It was first suggested to me several years ago that I would be great at running a cattery and the idea has stayed with me. I am now at a point in my life where I can make this a reality....so welcome to Cosy Towers Cat Hotel.
A lifetime with cats
I’ve had — or looked after — cats my entire life. My parents always had at least one, and after leaving the Armed Forces, my wife Tracey and I have always had two at any one time. We adore our furry friends; they live like royalty in our home and are thoroughly spoilt. In true cat fashion, they do whatever they please — but they are the best companions anyone could ask for.
Professional experience you can trust
My recent career has been in facilities and site management, which has given me the perfect skill set to run a small cat hotel. From building maintenance to health & safety, and from daily procedures to overall site management, these transferable skills from human industries to feline care make for a safe, well-run environment. Add my passion for cats, and a successful boarding establishment naturally takes shape.
Our bespoke cattery
Cosy Towers Cat Hotel is a bespoke six‑pen cattery built by Lindee Lu Ltd, using high‑quality materials and manufactured to regulation standards. Safe and secure in our back garden, it offers a comfortable, peaceful stay for your cats.
Each pen includes:
- A heated, climate‑controlled sleeping area
- Split‑level sleeping platforms
- A choice of bedding (or bring your own)
- A secure sleeping area opening into an exercise/day room
- Enrichment equipment, cosy resting spots, and fresh air in warmer months
- A fully enclosed, snug environment in colder months
We also have a larger pen suitable for up to three cats from the same household.
Feeding & daily care
Your cat will receive two meals a day from our selection of branded wet foods, along with fresh filtered water. They may even enjoy the occasional special treat such as chicken, prawns, or tuna. If your cat has a specific diet, simply bring it along — we’ll ensure they receive exactly what they’re used to.
Attention, enrichment & updates
As I work from home, your cats receive plenty of attention — petting, grooming, fussing, and play — while all their needs are met. You’ll also receive occasional photos on our social media and a friendly “CATch-up” via email, text, or WhatsApp.
Training & veterinary support
Both Tracey and I are trained in cat first aid, and I’m currently completing a course in feline welfare and behaviour to further enhance our care standards. For added peace of mind, Natterjacks Veterinary Practice is just around the corner should medical support ever be needed.
